A 9-day, 46-mile trek over the 15,200 ft Salkantay Pass, finishing with the train to Aguas Calientes and a guided sunrise tour of Machu Picchu. Lodging is mixed lodges and tented camps; all in-country transport, permits, porters, and meals are included.

What the trip looks like

  1. Day 1

    Arrival + acclimatization

    Land in country, group dinner, gear shakedown with your leads.

  2. Days 2–3

    Approach

    Lower-elevation walks to acclimatize, with cultural stops and local guides.

  3. Days 4–7

    On the route

    The trek itself — hut-to-hut or camp-to-camp, with a full porter or refugio system.

  4. Day 8

    Summit / signature day

    The reason you came. Early start, slow pace, big payoff.

  5. Day 9

    Return + celebration

    Back to civilization. Hot showers, group dinner, photo swap, flights home the next morning.

Fitness & experience

Multi-day stamina and prior trekking experience required. We'll do a 1:1 fitness call before booking.
